Lucy Rodmell (Chichester Area)
Lucy Rodmell founded Starfish Personal Training in April 2004. She is a cutting-edge, ACE Qualified personal trainer who specialises in a flexible approach to health and fitness. Her unique programs are relevant to the activities clients enjoy doing in day to day life.
Her scientific areas of expertise include hip joint replacements, shoulder biomechanics and lower leg injury criteria. As a research engineer, she designed part of the next generation of crash test dummy. As well as having had papers published in the Journal of Othopaedic Trauma and also Medicine, Science and Law, Lucy was also sought after as an expert witness through her knowledge of the tolerances of the human body.
Lucy aspired to turn her intellectual knowledge and desire to make a difference to people's everyday life. In 2003 she became a leading fitness instructor at one of the UK's largest independent gyms.
With a background in Biomechanics and a passion for life, Lucy takes great care to ensure that exercise is fun, safe and effective.
Having spent three years in large global company, she understands the pressure of corporate life, with all the physical as well as mental stresses and strains it brings.
She enjoys fitness activities of all kinds and loves the outdoors, especially mountain biking, running, going to the gym and training people!
